Bay Tree Cottage, which was formerly the village shop for over 150 years, adjoins Bay Tree House and is situated near to the road, opposite the parish church of St Giles. It has now been sympathetically converted into an attractive upside down self-catering cottage, available for short breaks or longer holidays.
It offers ideal accommodation for a family with its cosy downstairs bedrooms (one with king size double bed, the other with two singles), and well appointed shower room. Upstairs is the large vaulted living room with comfortable sofas, TV, Video, DVD and CD players, and fully equipped open plan kitchen/ dining room (cooker, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer etc) affording dramatic views of Eype Down and Thorncombe Beacon.
The cottage is warm and cosy with under floor heating downstairs and an electric ‘woodburner’ in the living room, and double glazing. Rates are inclusive of gas / electricity and all linen/ towels are provided, apart from beach towels.
There is a small but attractive enclosed garden with patio furniture and a designated parking space in the car park.
Access to the cottage is across Bay Tree Tea Garden.
Well- behaved adult dogs are welcome (no puppies please!) All our local pubs are dog friendly!
